Areas of Mentorship Interest

Topics for Mentorship

Analysis and overall understanding of the historical, philosophical, theological and political journey of the West, from ancient Greece to the present day. Secondly, links can be made with non-European cultures.

Envisaged activities/program

Shared workshops and conversations: essentially a joint exploration of various topics. A mixture of ex-cathedra classes and workshops for joint reflection. The course may be given in a small group outdoors, while walking, as Epicurus did with his students. The common sense I want to stimulate in students involves reason, feeling and intuition (cf. George Orwell).
